Classic Boy Crib Bedding!

As a mom of a baby boy, I know how hard it is to find "cute" boy things. It always seems like there is a much larger selection of baby girl stuff. I had an extremely hard time finding the perfect boy's bedding! I came across this custom Pinecreek bedding and absolutely love it! It has a gorgeous powder blue and creme color palate. The oversized bows on the front of the crib are an awesome touch. The bumper shown in the photos is considered a pillow bumper but this set also comes in a boxed bumper or standard bumper. Don't you just love it!?!?

Round and Round We Go!

Every nursery needs a good mobile. By about three months my son was really captivated by his mobile and it helped distract him until he fell asleep.

Here are some favorites:

This hand knitted sheep mobile is absolutely adorable! It would be quite a splurge at $110 but it would be quite a focal point in any nursery.

Bananafish Little Whales Musical Mobile
Baby Furniture Plus Kids carries the entire Bananafish bedding line. The coordinating bedding for this mobile is so cute!
 Dena Happi Tree Musical Mobile
Baby Furniture Plus Kids also carries this mobile and the coordinating crib bedding.
I love the sweet owl, porcupine, squirrel, and bird on this one!

Mr. Moustache Baby Mobile
This mobile is perfect for any little man. You can find it Here!

Rock-A-Bye Baby

A ton of moms swear by the Nap Nanny Chill. It is a groundbreaking new product designed by a mother to improve infant sleep. And now it comes with enhanced features!

The Nap Nanny Chill weighs in at 3 pounds, offers a wide base for stability, and a waterproof liner to protect the foam core. It mimics the basic contours of a car seat, but is sloped at 30° at the top and curved gently at the foot to cradle the baby and prevent sliding. It is a stand-alone product and not a sleep positioner. It can be carried easily from room to room, but is designed for FLOOR USE ONLY — it should never be placed in a crib, play yard or elevated surface.

Doctors recommend elevating babies prone to reflux, colic, colds or stuffiness, gas, and ear infections. While regular crib wedges work in getting babies to sleep, the baby often rolls off. With the innovative design of the Nap Nanny, baby is cradled at a 30 degree angle while the safety harness holds baby securely in place. It is made with a durable yet incredibly comfortable high-density polyurethane foam that mimics the contours of a car seat, the comfort of a baby blanket and the stability of a mattress allowing your infant to rest peacefully.

Features:
  • Ideal for bottle feeding , playtime, or any other time your baby needs a comfortable place to rest
  • Innovative foam design cradles infant comfortably
  • Enhanced features of the Nap Nanny Chill include a snugger fit at the hips and higher at the sides, and a redesigned 3-point harness
  • Durable waterproof liner in the cover protects the foam for greater longevity
  • Lightweight at only 3 lbs so you can take it anywhere
I think I need to try this out when we have another baby. My little guy was never comfortable sleeping on his back but we were told not to put him on his stomach. This seems like a great solution!

Bright Ideas

A great way to add a little something special to your nursery is by bringing in a cute lamp. I have the most adorable monogrammed floor lamp shade from Hoohobbers. It matches my crib bedding and I absolutely love it. But I am thinking about adding a cute table lamp on Harper's dresser.

Here are some adorable ones I found:

This one is $99 at West Elm. Cute, Cute, Cute. I am a huge fan of owls.

This is the Mariposa Tabe Lamp in aquamarine from Z Gallerie. I think this lamp would look absolutely gorgeous in a nursery.

This adorable green bunny lamp is made by Glenna Jean. Baby Furniture Plus Kids carries the entire Glenna Jean bedding line. What a sweet addition to any nursery!

I am obsessed with the entire collection of Jubilee lamps. They are so chic! Baby Furniture Plus Kids carries the entire line and has a ton of chandeliers to choose from. Here are a few of my favorites:
